Accommodations
- Morgenlicht can comfortably accommodate up
to 24 guests in double or triple apartments with private baths and warm
water heated by solar panels, all with a magnificent view to a sea of
mountains. The main lounge, with a dinning and a sitting area, and a fireplace,
offers an elegant, comfortable, and warm atmosphere, an ideal setting
for relaxation among friends, or work companions.
Work Room - A 70m2 / 758 square-foot spacious octagonal room, with hardwood floors and vaulted ceilings, warmed by a fireplace, and surrounded by a deck with sweeping mountain views, provides all the tranquility and resources needed by work groups.
Eco-Tourism
- If you are looking for Eco-Tourism, Morgenlicht
offers all the mystery and beauty of the Rain Forest, and its luxurious
flora and fauna. In an area of 330 hectares/815.41 acres (of mountain
woodlands), visitors have several hiking options, through scenic trails
of different degrees of difficulty and lenghts, crossing creeks, or mountain-climbing.
Organic Vegetable Garden - We offer guided tours with information and tips on organic farming and management.
Other
Activities - While a natural pool and a waterfall
with a lagoon energize our visitors, a dry firewood sauna relaxes them.
Water aerobics groups and those engaged in aquatic fitness programs are
free to use the outdoor chlorine-free heated pool, adjacent to Morgenlicht,
which can also be used just for a swim amidst its breathtaking view of
mountains and valleys.
Art - Everything at Morgenlicht is integrated with beauty and nature. From the harmonious lines of its architectural design by Cydno Silveira, who has worked with renowned Brazilian architects Niemeyer and Zanine, to the beautiful entrance panel by Amelia Toledo, who designed the artistic project of the Copacabana Subway Station in Rio. From the colors, materials, and works of art by Brazilian artists to the fresh floral arrangements that decorate its interiors to the soothing sounds of running water and the chirping of birds and crickets, all create a stimulating and expansive atmosphere for groups at work.
